REBATTEX and CEPELO cooperate to enable scalable EV battery diagnostics in Denmark and Norway
Rebattex has entered a strategic cooperation with CEPELO to strengthen EV battery diagnostics and module-level testing solutions in Denmark and Norway. Through the partnership, CEPELO will provide Autel diagnostic equipment, software, support and onboarding for workshops and battery businesses entering the second-life EV battery market. The cooperation also includes exploring solutions for testing and commercialising reusable battery modules, supporting the growth of a transparent and scalable circular battery market in Europe.
REBATTEX today announced a strategic cooperation agreement with CEPELO focused on EV battery diagnostics, measurement equipment and module-level battery testing solutions for the growing circular battery market in Denmark and Norway. Under the cooperation, CEPELO will provide REBATTEX and its ecosystem partners with Autel EV diagnostic and battery measurement equipment, including the Autel 909S2 platform with EV upgrade functionality, software, support and Secure Gateway (SGW) capabilities. CEPELO will also provide demonstrations, onboarding and operational support for workshops and
battery-related businesses entering the second-life EV battery market. The parties will additionally explore solutions for testing, analysing and commercialising loose EV battery modules, where both companies see rapidly growing demand. “We are very pleased to cooperate with CEPELO and combine advanced battery diagnostics with the trusted infrastructure and exchange functionality we are building for the circular battery economy,” said Andy Rietschel, CEO of Rebattex. “Reliable diagnostics and module-level analysis are becoming increasingly important as larger volumes of EV batteries enter
secondary use and reuse markets.” “Our discussions with REBATTEX confirmed the strong market demand for professional battery diagnostics and module-level solutions,” said Peter Lorentzen, CEO of CEPELO A/S. “Together, we see significant potential in enabling more efficient and trustworthy handling of reusable EV batteries and battery modules.” The cooperation supports the continued development of a transparent, scalable and circular European market for second-life EV batteries and battery components.
